What is an Authorized Reseller?

Authorized Reseller(what is an Authorized Reseller? )

What is an authorized reseller? An authorized reseller is a person or business entity that makes bulk purchases of products from manufacturing companies and then resells these products again to the consumers...

[caption id="attachment_1125" align="aligncenter" width="590"]What is an Authorized Reseller? www.whatis.website-site.com-190 What is an Authorized Reseller?[/caption]

Authorized resellers earn profit in this kind of business set-up since they get discounted prices from manufacturers in wholesale buying and subsequently have the pleasure of determining much higher prices in reselling the products. In other words, whatever amount that exceeds the manufacturer's price is the reseller's financial gain.

A reseller is authorized if there is a formal business agreement between the reseller and the manufacturing company. What is meant by business agreement is the manufacturing company's acknowledgment that bulks of its products will be bought and resold by the reseller. Inside this same agreement is a set of privileges, benefits and other corporate assistance that the manufacturer will provide to its authorized reseller throughout the course of their business contract.

Authorized reseller vs. Authorized agent. It is important to point out though that an authorized reseller is different from an authorized agent. An authorized reseller completely owns the products once the purchase is done, and as mentioned, the reseller has the freedom to decide the selling price of the products. An authorized agent on the other hand does not own the products to be sold, as these still belong to the manufacturing company. An agent basically relies on the prices quoted by the manufacturer, and earns profit through hitting the target sales quotas and getting sales commissions.

What is Plyometric Training?

What is Plyometric Training?

Author:Dennis Blair

Plyometric training is a method of training that is specifically developed for athletes to improve performance. Plyometric training is high intensity training. High intensity is a set of exercises that pushes your body to the max, making heart rate go up and to burn a lot of calories. Plyometric training is basically developed so you can jump higher, run faster or even throw farther.

[caption id="attachment_1103" align="aligncenter" width="500"]What is Plyometric Training? www.whatis.website-site.com-173 What is Plyometric Training?[/caption]

Benefits

Plyometric training is an essential part of an athlete's life. It is utilized by those athletes that play high intensity sports or sports that require regular movements. These athletes need power in order to be at the top of their game. Two examples of sports that utilize this training are runners that compete in the 100m dash or athletes that do the hammer throw. The athlete that competes in the 100m dash needs a lot of speed and strength to complete that race. The hammer throw athlete requires a lot of strength in order to throw that hammer farther. This is what plyometric does; it increases an athlete ability to perform. It develops strength, speed, stamina and overall power. The development could be utilized in swimming, throwing, running, jumping or any other sports activity out there. Here are the main benefits:

  • It burns calories; it is unlikely to find a person that engages in plyometric training to be overweight. This is due to the high intensity of the training. In plyometric training, the body is constantly active and needs a fair amount of muscle endurance which is good for burning calories.

  • Increases muscular power; plyometric training is not just simple cardiovascular work. It takes a great deal of power in order to complete a workout. Power requires muscular strength, but unlike regular weight lifting, the muscles not only get stronger, but they are also leaner and better equipped for athletic performances.

  • Muscular endurance; even though weight lifting is good for gaining strength, it does not increase muscular endurance. Muscular endurance is the ability for your muscles to continue working for a longer period of time without getting tired. A sport like football requires muscular endurance because the game is continuous with not too many breaks.

  • It is cheaper that other forms of exercises. Some exercises require bulky equipment and gadgets in order to carry out an exercise. However, plyometric uses a small amount of equipment; in fact sometimes none is needed. This training can use your body to get more benefits in order to increase you performance.

  • Better performance; for those who are actively involved in sports, plyometric can be excellent in order to build performance. It is not just for one specific sport but any sport that requires performance. For example, it helps an American football player jump higher, it can help a track star to run faster and it can also help a boxer to punch harder.

  • The most important part of plyometric is that it is not just for professional athletes as it allows for changes in routines for anyone to manage.

What is a Representational Mass Reality?

What is a Representational Mass Reality? A Very Short Introduction

By Henry M. Piironen

The individual's sense of reality is representational, and it can even be said that all human experiences are representations, thus forming a representational reality in parallel with the physical reality. The contents of the representational reality are founded on the interpretations of the environment and on such responses as emotions. But what can we then call as the representational mass reality?

[caption id="attachment_1047" align="aligncenter" width="500"]What is a Representational Mass Reality? www.whatis.website-site.com-155 What is a Representational Mass Reality?[/caption]

Consider a group of people in a kick ass metal concert. Each of them receives the representational content of the environment after a content generative cycle to their conscious mind, and as the source of the photons the retina receives is relatively the same, depending on the co-ordinates the persons are in, by combining the individual representational senses of the environment together, we are perceiving a representational mass reality. In such a domain, the metal star is under parallel perceptions of hundreds of individuals at the same time, their music stimulating each of their brains.

The representational mass reality of humanity is composed of every individual existing. Their combined whole defines the reality of Earth in contemporary terms, and the forms the reality takes comes to existence through every individual, whether in isolation or not. All persons have also an influence over the emerging forms of the future, and all actions taken lead for the casualties to be bind into increasingly more effects through the butterfly effect the further in time they exceed, if the cultural continuum doesn't meet such a terrific fate as a holocaust. The greater the influence during the brief existence, the greater effect, but it is enough to feel valuable from one's mere being, for in this too the ungreedy equally exist.

Humanity is also joined together by the use of the same words, however well defined they might between individual and another. The words in themselves are in case of substantives, adjectives and verbs names of a variety of phenomena, and the descriptive level of them in the dictionaries are the general descriptions of the phenomena. If one were to count the amount of same words an individual uses during one day, one would realize how much over the same matters the mind goes through daily. In the level of the representational mass reality, when everyone has an influence over it, the artistry and the responsibility is in that what should the reality be like? What should an individual's life be like, and what should the reality of consciousness in general be like in mass level? The contents of it, the richness of the experience one can for example receive from art, and literature. Considering the virtual reality of forums, why should an individual load it with so utter negativity, for similarly as individuals on a metal concert receive the contents of the co-ordinates they occupy, the contents of the consciousness in such a mass reality as forums will also be under parallel perceptions in mass level? In reality, the reality is what you make of it.

What is Gratitude Meditation?

What is Gratitude Meditation?

By Himanshu Jakhar

Gratitude meditation is a focused meditation exercise. It is a way to express your thanks for the special skills and talents you have, the people in your life, and the many blessings you have received. In sum, all of those things that make your life special are worthy of your gratitude. This practice can be used alongside your regular meditation sessions, or you can devote an entire session to gratitude at regular intervals.

[caption id="attachment_998" align="aligncenter" width="500"]What is Gratitude Meditation? www.whatis.website-site.com-140 What is Gratitude Meditation?[/caption]

This is one of the most rewarding types of meditation, because it teaches you to be happy with everything you have. You learn how to move from wanting, to feeling content and blissful with what you already have. Instead of troubling yourself by thinking of all that you don't have, you can instead focus your energy on being thankful for everything you do have. When you do so, you will actually attract more wealth.

You can start your gratitude meditation practice by first choosing a suitable place that is free of distractions. Avoid places with bright lighting. Turn off your cell phone and try to disconnect for a little while. Start by closing your eyes and focusing on your breathing. Identify the thoughts or worries that enter your head and dismiss them. Don't get angry at yourself if your mind continues to wander; that is the natural habit of the mind. Instead, get back on track by focusing on nothingness. When your body is in a state of relaxation and your mind is calm, you can begin to go over all of the things you are thankful for. You can use generic gratitude affirmations to express your thanks, or you can individualize your practise by thinking of specific things that you are thankful for in your life.

It can be easy to overlook even some of the most basic things to be thankful for. Take your body, for instance. You have eyes that allow you to see the world, you have ears that enable you to listen to music and hear the words of others, and you a mouth that lets you express your truths to others. There is so much more that your body alone can do that you should be thankful for. There are people in your life, and there is beauty in the world. There are endless things to be grateful for.

Practicing gratitude meditation on a regular basis is the best way to move towards happiness. Why? Because unhappiness is actually characterized as a state of desire or want. When you move out of that state by focusing on recognizing the blessings that you do have, you can move towards contentment. It becomes possible for you to understand that you don't actually need material possessions or any of the other things you desire in life, to be happy. Gratitude meditation is one of the simplest ways to teach yourself to be happy and experience fulfillment in the absence of desire.

What is IELTS (International English language Testing System)?

What Is IELTS?

By Mark W. Medley

Every year hundreds of thousands of people take an IELTS test, in order to immigrate to Australia, Canada or New Zealand or simply study at an international University in an English speaking country. What is the IELTS Test?

[caption id="attachment_889" align="aligncenter" width="500"]What is IELTS (International English language Testing System)? www.whatis.website-site.com-103 What is IELTS (International English language Testing System)?[/caption]

IELTS is short for the International English language Testing System, and is a recognized form of language testing for immigration, work or study purposes in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore. In the case of the first three countries, in order to immigrate, work or study there, you need to take an IELTS test.

The actual IELTS test is divided into two separate categories- Academic, and General training. If you wish to live or work in Australia, Canada or New Zealand, you do need to take a General Training IELTS test, before your visa is approved. The academic IELTS test is for those people who want to study at University or work in a specialized profession.

IELTS is based on a band, which means no one fails the test, but is given a level from 0-9, based on how well they performed in the test. Most IELTS students have a target to reach, so psychologically this is their own pass or fail score. The Australian Canadian, and New Zealand government sets this band, which is currently 6.5 for Canada, and 7 for Australia- in the General Training Test.

A higher educational institute like a University, sets it's own required band, depending on a number of factors, for example whether you are funding your own education or taking a scholarship. Recently some Colleges in the United States, the UK, and Singapore accept a required IELTS band for new students. A typical band score is 5.5- 6. for a bachelor degree, and 6.5 for a Masters degree.

Both IELTS tests have the same format, a Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing Test, which is tested in a wide variety of facilities worldwide- computers or the internet are not used during this test. The two main differences are that the writing and speaking sections in the general training test are much easier than in the academic modules, but both still use the same test for listening, and speaking.

The majority of students who take an IELTS test agree on three points, it can be very challenging, with a lot of self study, and practice. Many students take a course at a language school, and study by themselves or with friends at home, however eventually most students do reach their required score.

One mistake many IELTS students do make is to take the test, without any knowledge of how the test works. Some students leave taking an IELTS course too late, and struggle because of the lack of time needed to reach their required band. It is better to research the test on the internet, and ensure you have enough time to study, & practice for the test.

IELTS courses are available online, through most language schools, and some national Universities. One tip is to ensure you are take the right test, whether it is academic or general training, and start practicing as early as possible.

In the future more countries are using the IELTS test as a personal assessment of your English language skills, and some businesses ask job applicants for their IELTs score. In the case of Australia, and New Zealand speakers of English as a first language, are sometimes required to take an IELTS test, to reach the required points needed to move to their respective countries.

What is Rainwater Harvesting?

What is Rainwater Harvesting?

By Mark W. Medley

In an age of global warming and unpredictable weather patterns, many communities are suffering the cost of a water shortage- particularly in developing countries. This is why harvesting rainfall has become an alternative way for a family home to become water independent. What is harvesting rainwater?

[caption id="attachment_886" align="aligncenter" width="500"]What is Rainwater Harvesting? www.whatis.website-site.com-102 What is Rainwater Harvesting?[/caption]

Water shortages are often man-made, for instance too many homes in areas where there has always been a lack of rainfall, creates a need to develop reservoirs or relocate excess water from another area of the country. This is costly, and in an era of austerity plus the gradual warming up of our planet- unaffordable.

A traditional method of guaranteeing a supply of water has been harvesting rainfall, and is thousands of years old. The ancient Egyptian, Mayan and Roman empires used this technique to manage the water supplies of their cities, and towns, through using drainage and catchment systems most of our modern cities use today. However one aspect of rainwater harvesting used thousands of years ago, is becoming a more effective alternative to investing in large scale water projects- home catchment.

Indonesia is home to over 225 million people, and is larger than Europe in size, except it is a nation of over 17,000 islands, surrounded by sea. Many of these islands are undeveloped, and depend on agriculture, and fishing for a living, whilst it is unaffordable to develop running water to all the homes. That's where a simple and modified ancient home rainfall harvesting program has had effective results.

One of these islands suffered for decades from a prolonged dry season, and a short four month rainy season. The rainwater from the wet season, if harvested could provide enough water for each household, and allow communities to become completely independent from 'importing" costly water from a nearby island.

Harvesting was simple, even crude compared to the modern techniques used to recycle water in today's urban centers. Homes were simply fitted with a simple bamboo pipe, that caught the rainfall from the roofs of each home, and it naturally flowed into storage units near each home. Once the rainwater was stored, a pipe would be connected to these storage tanks to taps inside the house. Today, communities on this island, have their own independent water supply, and are water rich, instead of dependent.

Recent reports by the World Future Society claim that by the year 2020, water could become as valuable as oil, because of the effects of an increasing world population, a decline in natural forests, and the unsustainable use of water in many of our countries. This trend is reversible, despite the lack of funds many governments have, and the continued growth of cities.

Reversing the possibility that homeowners may one day, need to ration or pay premium rates for the water they use, could be solved by every home using a water catchment pipe, and linking it to a communal or independent storage unit. Something our ancient ancestors knew and practiced thousands of years ago, and like the water independent residents of a remote Indonesian island, guarantee that we use what nature gives us, rather then waste a valuable resource such as rain water.
